Fundraising during the coronavirus pandemic

As we continue to support our heroic NHS workers in the UK, we are asking you to help us support those less fortunate through the global pandemic.

Whilst cases of coronavirus in Uganda are currently low, the government shut down has been extreme having a grave impact. The usual production and routes to market have been devastated. This has left many families starving as they are unable to work, buy food or sell produce. This includes the families of Community Health Workers who promote good sanitation and healthcare to communities who would otherwise not receive it. Teachers and Charity Support Team workers who are no longer working are struggling with REAL starvation.

In a nation with no social welfare system, their wellbeing often relies on community support, but with people having to close doors to each other, they have asked for our support. So please help us help them. £15 can support a family of 8, £10 a smaller family and £5 a single individual for a week, providing them with basic food means to cook and soap they need to survive.

To support frontline workers in the remote community on Wanale Ridge in Uganda, please donate now. Your generosity will help families stave off starvation by giving them some basic support during these unprecedented times.
